The eye area is a very sensitive part of the face: the skin here is extremely thin, so it's no wonder that any period of increased stress, tension, fatigue, or sleeplessness is immediately reflected in the eye area, forming dark circles under the eyes.

Eyelid correction is performed on a large number of young patients. This is one of the first age-related changes that people themselves and those around them notice. Dark circles can also become pronounced around the age of 25-30, especially in young professionals who work very intensely at this age, without counting working hours and without sparing themselves. The typical complaint of these patients sounds like this: „I look tired, even though I rest well.“.
Dark circles under the eyes are a characteristic sign of aging in older individuals, caused by the sagging of cheek tissues, which leaves a hollow along the orbital rim and creates bulging fat herniations above it, commonly referred to by patients as eye bags.

For younger people who do not yet have under-eye bags, and whose under-eye circles are simply dark due to fatigue, stress, or genetically determined very thin under-eye skin, simpler procedures such as tissue filler injections can be performed. The problem of dark circles under the eyes can be solved in various ways. Darkening around the eyes that appears at a young age can be successfully treated with fillers, with fat grafting being particularly effective.
At the same time, fat can be transplanted to other areas of the face, thereby effectively contouring facial features.

For the under-eye area that requires correction due to aging, fat grafting or fillers alone are often insufficient. Here, the removal of fat pockets (usually done without a visible incision) is often combined with fat grafting. Such a complex procedure yields good long-term results.
