A minimally invasive procedure is a method of surgical intervention where results are achieved using very small surgical incisions or just small openings in the skin.
Patients are very concerned about the incisions used in traditional surgery and the scars they leave behind. Sometimes, the resulting scar is even more important to them than the final outcome. As the understanding of facial aesthetics gradually changes, a natural result begins to dominate, which is sometimes less pronounced and less noticeable to others. The person's face then looks younger and more radiant, but it's not really understood that a minimally invasive intervention has been performed. It is precisely these procedures that avoid the infamous „facelift mask“ effect, where, in pursuit of maximum results, persistence leads to a face that appears lifeless and artificially flattened.

Dr. Gintaras Papeckis's comment

When looking into the process of facial aging, it has been determined that facial tissues only descend in superficial layers (skin, subcutaneous fat, superficial musculoaponeurotic system). Deeper layers are firmly fixed to the facial bones by ligaments. Therefore, surgical face-lifting threads, initially met with skepticism by surgeons, have earned their reputation as an effective method that provides a very natural facial rejuvenation result.

New surgical threads are emerging on the market that are inserted through a minimal skin opening or a small incision (e.g., Silhouette Lift). I enthusiastically started using these methods 10 years ago, and they are now widely recognized. Minimally invasive interventions include not only surgical threads but also many other procedures such as liposuction and fat grafting to the face, tissue fillers, PRP, botulinum toxin injections, and stem cell injections.

It is important to know that these corrections can and should be started at a much younger age, when the first more noticeable signs of aging appear (from 35 years old). This way, all these changes are reduced and postponed to a later age, when traditional, more extensive surgical interventions are already needed. For example, a classic facelift is now recommended for patients who use modern aesthetic medicine from the age of 55 and older.
So modern aesthetic medicine and surgery methods are more versatile and effective, more natural, although, on the other hand, traditional aesthetic surgery operations cannot be completely avoided yet, but their scope can be reduced and their execution time can be postponed.

        Registration

        Contact information

Mni invazinės veido formos korekcijos – tai labai populiarėjanti veido grožio chirurgijos ir estetinės medicinos sritis.
