As a result, more of the red part of the upper lip is visible,<br>the lip looks fuller, and the arch of the upper lip becomes more expressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">After surgery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The stitches are removed after a week. In the first months, as the scar forms, there may be a feeling of tightness<br>at the top of the upper lip; special massages are recommended to reduce the tightness. Over time, the scar<br>loosens, stretches, and the upper lip slightly descends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dr. G. Pape\u010dkys's commentary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lip lift is one of my favorite facial surgeries, which I often recommend<br>to patients. As a result, the shortened lip is one of the key elements of a beautiful, balanced face.<br>It adds elegance and shape to the face. Unlike using hyaluronic injections, there is no risk during this<br>surgery that the lip will become overly enlarged, protrude, and be called a \u201educk lip.\u201c.<br>I recommend injecting a small amount of hyaluronic acid into the lip edge after the lip lift to further<br>enhance the results.
