Career Start and Development<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In 1981, G. Pape\u010dkys graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine at Kaunas Medical University. For 13 years, the doctor worked at one of the largest medical institutions in Lithuania \u2013 Kaunas Academic Clinics (Clinic of Surgery). While working at Kaunas Academic Clinics, he also consulted and performed surgeries at Kaunas\u201e first private clinic, which was then called \u201dKaunas Medical Center.\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1988, plastic and reconstructive surgeon Gintaras Pape\u010dkys began his private surgical practice. G. Pape\u010dkys is one of the first doctors to begin developing aesthetic surgery and aesthetic medicine in Lithuania after 1991.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2000, Dr. G. Pape\u010dkys founded the first aesthetic surgery clinic to independently operate (after the restoration of independence in 1991) and named it \u201eGP clinic.\u201d The surgeon is an advocate of minimally invasive facial aesthetic surgery and has adhered to this principle throughout his career. The doctor is a pioneer of many aesthetic surgeries and procedures in Lithuania. It is precisely his constant desire for self-improvement, pursuit of innovation, and implementation of new methods that have brought such services to Lithuania:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In 2011, doctors began to use injections of platelet-rich plasma (so-called PRP procedures). He also consults and performs aesthetic medicine procedures in Klaip\u0117da and Palanga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Dr. Gintaras Pape\u010dkys has performed many surgeries and procedures on popular entertainment figures, businessmen, and artists in Lithuania. A plastic surgeon's consultation is also very important for specialists in other beauty fields \u2013 cosmetologists and dermatologists \u2013 who want to better understand which procedures help in which cases and what to best advise their clients. The doctor is also invited every year to participate in the Estonian TV project \u201eExtreme Makeover,\u201d where he enhances selected participants and discusses the possibilities offered by aesthetic surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      When the surgeon is not consulting with patients or operating, he is actively involved in sports. Gintaras Pape\u010dkys is a multiple winner and medalist of Lithuanian tennis tournaments, a medalist of the very popular summer car races \u201eOmnitel 1000 km\u201d held in Palanga, and also a member of the World Medical Tennis Association. G. Pape\u010dkys is an active public figure, one of the founders of the Lithuanian Porsche club \u201ePORKER\u201d, its first president, and a member of the Kaunas Rotary Club \u201eRomuva\u201d.
